DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS: I remember when I first came to the Asian Pacific Review meeting. I saw this Asian dude who was bald. I have to admit that at the meeting, I learned how much he wanted to be a part of APR but he does have his fears. I've known James for about two years now and during the last year I have seen him grow as a person and as a leader. I knew early on that he had to be the man to play the part of Khai. His input and his assistance was crucial to pull some of the funnier moments of RI off. He did a great job! James is one of those guys that can go into a room of 100 depressed individuals and have them laughing. He has that charisma and the humor that make people happy. Trust me...I've seen him use it with the ladies. James and I are the older men of APR and I'm just so happy he participated in Romantic Interlude. When I envisioned the character who was called Lee at the time, it was him. Khai is a better name and what can I say, James played the part perfectly. He is a very talented person and when he has the time he can be a good leader. He has the potential and if he goes all out meeting that goal, he can heighten those distinctive qualities. He's a a good person and I'm proud to have met a guy like him. I wish him the best in his future goals and endeavors. | ||
