A: TYPE OF RICE COOKER YOU USE: This awesome rice cooker called Toshiba IH Heating. My husband (note from daa: Kevin Bennett of manga company, Studio Ironcat) is really picky about rice so I almost bought the cheaper one but he demanded that this one is more for a professoinal use so that we might as well buy a better one ...and glad we did :) .

B: HOW MANY TIMES YOU EAT RICE (Days in the week): Actually I am a more of a pasta/noodle person but I guess I eat rice probably everyday (if I am properly eating everyday that is) because the staff from the show usually buys a bunch of onigiri from convenient store (and I usually end up eating one or two of those before I go on the air...).

C: WHICH METHOD DO YOU USE TO COOK RICE (Finger, Palm, knuckle, Cup, rice cooker mark method): My mother always used some kind of tekito na superhuman ability, but my husband (again) is very picky and tried to teach me the palm way,but now I just watch the rice cooker mark. (shhh)

D: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT WITH YOUR RICE: I love my rice with ikura!! My mom does it the best and my nephews (love her ikura too, she usually puts some sake, soy sauce, and some (secret ingredient (i just cant remember it) and leave it like that for (a half day or so, and bam!).

E: WHICH BRAND OF RICE DO YOU PREFER TO EAT: My mother is from Nigata and her family has a rice farm up there, (so they always send me the freshest, best rice every season. (I guess it is some kind of koshihikari, or something really really (yummy, but I never really payed attention to the name...all I knew (throughout my life was that Nigata rice is definately the BEST!
