D'YRGE: The Official Website

Welcome to the official Website of D'YRGE. The site is mainted by me..."THE UNKNOWN", the drummer of the group. We are a band inspired by Japanese visual rock such as X JAPAN, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Malice Mizer, Luna Sea, GLAY and Japanese music especially video game music. I hope to get more stuff on this Website but I am too busy playing games on my Sony Playstation 2. The song that plays on the splash page and this page is called "Hypnotized" created by Velimn and bANgZ.

D'YRGE are: bANgZ (lead guitar, background vocals), VELIMN (bass guitar), SHADOW (keyboards), THE UNKNOWN (drums) and SHION (lead vocals, guitar).

WORDS FROM THE UNKNOWN (4.1.2002): Yeah, I know...I should update this Website more. Here's a recording of Shion singing Luna Sea's "I FOR YOU" from an event last week. Anyway, I went by Shion's place the other day. He was singing karaoke of L'Arc~en~Ciel's "Dive to Blue" and he was playing the guitar and singing their song "Sinsyoku - Lose Control -". I'm not sure if he knows but I recorded him singing. I don't think he knows but I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I went by bANgZ place and got a little sample of him playing and singing a cool Filipino song "Sinta" and "Harana". Later on Velimn came over and recorded both of them messing around. In fact, the song you are listening on the Website is called "Hypnotized" that Velimn and bANgZ came up with. Velimn has been busy with playing a game on Playstation 2. Shadow came over and he was playing a song called "Illusions" from the anime "Ah! My Goddess".

WORDS FROM THE UNKNOWN (3.11.2002):
It was an interesting day. I prepaid for the registration for Fanime. Shion and bANgZ were jammin'. Shion was singing L'Arc~en~Ciel's "Blurry Eyes" which he calls sexy voice version. Everytime he does that, the girls all go crazy for it. bANgZ was singing a song which he does for all the girls from the movie "The Wedding Singer" titled "I want to grow old with you". He and Shion then sung X JAPAN's "Crucify My Love". I recorded them singing again. Velimn has been busy playing a video game on the PS2 and the Shadow has been busy romancing with the ladies. I on the other hand met this beautiful girl but I couldn't say anything...because remember I'm the shy one. I'm not the kind of guy who gets ladies like the others. Oh Well... Perhaps I should learn the drums for X JAPAN's "Say Anything".

Q: I really dig Shion's vocals and bANgZ's guitar playing. Who is their music inspiration?
A: Shion say's Kazutoshi Sakurai of Mr. Children, HYDE of L'Arc~en~Ciel and Sakamoto Ryuichi of Luna Sea and bANgZ said "Yoshiki, Hide and Jimmy Page".

Q: Are you guys gay?
A: No. We love women too much.

Q: How come the Shadow looks psycho?
A: Because he is.

Q: How come VELIMN has blood on his mouth in his pictures?
A: Who said it was blood? It's ketchup. Just kidding, it's because VELIMN is a big fan of Klaha of Malice Mizer.

Q: How come THE UNKNOWN is not on any of the pictures?
A: Because I'm shy. B-P Seriously!
