Fanime 2002 Memories

Welcome to the Cosplay Underground's "Fanime 2002 Memories" segment.

Anyway, the following photos are among the many hundreds (or even thousands) of photos that we took at Fanime 2002. I have a total of 101 photos in this gallery.

As you can see... with photo galleries, I take a different approach to the typical cosplay photo galleries. I want to visually capture your attention as I tweak the images from the original and as my friend Hiroshi would say...."have a fun" with them. So, I tweaked the photos or took photos and put them together. So, if you are wondering why the photos look different here than on other cosplay con photo pages (or you are on one of these photos and are saying to yourself..."Hey, I never took a picture with that person")...now you know why.

I want to thank my friends for their photography at Fanime 2002. Peter Pastor, Edwin "Bangzx" Macaraeg, Gilbert Aquino, Charles Amith and Mel "Velimn" Macaraeg who together we just wanted to have the best experience at the con thus we took as many photos as possible. They all did a great job!

But more than anything...thanks to Peter. Quite a few of you met Peter at Fanime 2k2. The guy was constantly taking pictures. He made the best of his experience at Fanime 2002 and took so many photos that all of us were in awe because it was his first con and he didn't take dozens...but he took over a thousand. Wow! Dude, you rock! So, if you are looking for a photo of you from the con or the original photos that are shown on this page, please contact Peter.

Last....thank you, to the cosplayers for letting us take your photos. Even if our digital cameras are low in battery power and we made you wait more than 30 seconds to take a photo ^_-. Also, to the noncosplayers from the dance and karaoke segments of Fanime2k2.

For those who are not on this version of the Cosplay Underground "Fanime 2002 Memories" page and really want to be a part of it...send us an e-mail and also make sure to let us know which character, what day and what outfit you were cosplaying. It would help if you had a picture of yourself that we can see because we did take a lot of photos. Also, you can send us a few Fanime 2k2 cosplay photos and with your permission, give me the opportunity to tweak them.

Last, Please don't think we are snobs by not responding to your e-mail right away. We're busy individuals and we will try to get back to you as quickly as we can.
