Ok, I have the list but it is in my poor brain's floating memory banks. Anyway : As a thumb rule, if a Fasa Battlemech(R) looks nice it is a japanese anime mecha. For the original boxed set the "anime to Fasa" correspondence is: Locust Crusher Joe (Ral partha miniature exists, and is nice). Stinger Macross (it is the standard Varetech. Ral partha miniature is fine. A gerwalk configuration miniature is available as Stinger LAM.) Wasp Macross (That one for better pilots - Warning Fasa lousy "artists" usually depict it with the weapon mounted at the end of the arm, but without weapon. I hope that people at Ral Partha did a better job. I don't know if there's a LAM miniature.) Phoenix Hawk Macross (The famous Skull leader -with boosters-, whose insigna and paint scheme were heavily used by Fasa. Avoid recent drawings!!. Again Ral Partha made miniature for both birobot and gerwalk, again called LAM) Crusader Macross (The armoured Varetech, the miniature from RP looks nice). Rifleman Macross (the Raidar X, nice miniature available from RP) Archer Macross (The Gladiator, nice miniature this one too. But *WARNING* !!!!!!!!! There's a Battlemech called Bombardier that looks like an ugly Archer and whose miniaature is sold as that of an Archer by RP.) Warhammer Macross (The Excaliber/Tomahawk, even if its miniature shares the same legs of the rifleman it is GREAT.) Marauder Macross (The Glaug officer battlepod, this time for uman sized pilots. With the Warhammer is one of the most loved Battlemech. Again miniature warning: Ral Partha Produces two different versions of this mecha miniature. The first I got was hard to assemble but did a GREAT result. I fear it is out of production. The second one is even harder to build and very bad -shorter and larger torso weapon, diffferent arms ending and joints. I don't know if there's a miniature for the Marauder II, a FASA invention.) Griffin Dougram Wolverine Dougram Shadow Hawk Dougram Thunderbolt Dougram Battlemaster Dougram (For all of these there's a nice miniature from RP). Other 'Mechs(R) than the ones listed coming from Japanime: Longbow Macross (The Spartan, again a miniature is available but not common since it's not popular.) Goliath Dougram (? Both with miniature whose pieces don't) Scorpion Dougram (? fit too well) I think that even the Catapult Battlemech(R) could be a japanese mecha. The Valkyrie is a FASA horror based on the Super Veritech without boosters. There are some boxed sets of 4 miniatures, those with "interesting" mecha are at least : Recon Lance (with a label that tells you that "recon" is a trademark of Palladium Books) 2 Locusts 1 Stinger 1 Phenix Hawk (birobot) Heavy Lance Griffin Shadow Hawk Rifleman Crusaader Assault Lance 2 Warhammers 1 Battlemaster 1 Marauder (lousy one) Fire Lance 2 Archers 1 Rifleman 1 Phoenix Hawk (birobot) As all you know there's also a Robotech RPG book that contains the address of the producer of the original Robotech miniatures. Just to tell a nice rumor, there's the boardgame of Dragon Quest, the aanime/manga (?) from the videogame with the same name, with miniatures.
