ANIME HOSPITAL Episode #1 scene 3 The whole gang had gathered in Dr Schtoopenstein's office. The concerned doctor paced back and forth muttering something unintelligible while Heather, Mike and Pam stood next to Toni to lend emotional support to her while she made her report to Hospital Security, not that she really needed it. "He had this really high-pitched voice and an annoying, chattery giggle," she told the two uniformed officers. "He said that we'd better close the hospital and get out of town or 'bad' things would happen. I wish I could have seen the guy." Toni mimed a professional boxer-type punch. One of the security officers finished scribbling on his pad and said, "Is that everything, Mrs. Li?" "That's it." Toni replyed. The two men excused themselves and left, and everyone else suddenly became animate. "Did he threaten you, or just the hospital?" Mike said protectively. "Did you see that tall guy's butt?" Heather said, indicating one of the security men. She then winced as Pam jabbed her shoulder. "He will call again," Pam said. Toni nodded her head. "I'll be expecting that." Meanwhile, Dr Schtoopenstein was raising his arms in the air and saying, "Alvays I am persecuted for my creations. I just vant to support the cause of beauty and long life, is that so wrong?" Just then, the door knocked. In walked in two people: a rather muchlar blond lady and a broad shouldered cyborg with long, stiltlike ears. "Easter was two months ago," Toni said. The borg snorted in amusement, and his partner said, "We heard you got a threatening phone call. We are special investigators for Olympus Police. We'd like to know if there was anything we could do to help?" Karl immediately perked up and said, "Vy yes, ve could use-" but he shrieked in pain suddenly as Pam inconspicuously knocked the hot cup of coffee on the doctor's desk onto his pants. "What he meant to say," Toni said as the babbling doctor dashed off to the restroom, "was that we really think it would be best if we handled this ourselves for the moment. Thanks anyway." The two nodded and left. The group began to resume their discussion when another knock came at the door. "Now what?" Toni moaned. In walked a slim man with curly red hair. He flashed a badge and said, "AD Police. I heard you got a threatening phone call?" "Thanks, we really preferred we handled this ourselves right now," Toni said, waving him out of the office. The peace lasted for just a few seconds as yet another knock at the door was heard. In walked two ladies. "Tank Police," one of them said. "We heard-" "No, THANK you!!!" the receptionist and three nurses said in unision. The two women looked surprised, and a little hurt, and left. Toni sighed. "How do they *do* that?" she asked, and not surprisingly, another knock was heard. "Special Police. Agent Maris-" "There's no money in it," Toni mumbled sweetly. The scantily clad redhead stopped. "Huhn. Nevermind, then." "Cripes!" Toni declared. "They never stop coming, and each one is more destructive than the last! What could be worse?" The door simply opened this time, as two women enthusiatically said, "We're trouble consultants for WWWA, and-" The bloodcurdling cry of "No!" could be heard several wards down from the office, which was quite a feat, since, given the clientelle, all the walls are double-soundproofed.
