I'm starting to lose all track of time. Akane: About two weeks.... Hello! We're back. [ The Tendo house has seen better days. Everything seems to be falling apart. Dirt and grime are everywhere. The grass is growing wild and unkempt. Junk and litter seem to dominate the house floor. It looks not unlike an old homeless shelter. For the most part you're probably better off using your imagination ] [ The residents aren't fairing too well either. The Panda looks incredibly gaunt for his size. He's lying on the grass trying to force grass in his mouth. Soun doesn't look much better, his clothers are all withered and wrinkled. He doesn't look like he's been eating too well either. Currently he's lying in bed with tears streaming from his eyes ] Soun: Yes, Akane, you've finally come home to bid homage to your dying father Akane: Father, you're not dying.... Panda: [sign] Yet! Nabiki: Well it might not be long now. Father is so weak now his toddler kempo class beat him up yesterday. And I won't even mention what they did to Mr. Saotome. Soun: Akane, when I have passed on to join your mother please try to have a son to carry on the dojo name. Akane: [ annoyed ] Father... Ranma: Has Kasumi's condition changed? Kasumi: Hello you two, did you just come home? Ranma: Hmmmm. Kasumi: I just baked some muffins and I'm going to visit some friends. Soun: F-O-O-D Panda: [sign] R-E-A-L Food! [ Soun crawls out of bed and they both reach for the muffins ] Kasumi: HEY!! THESE AREN'T FOR YOU!!! KEEP YOUR PAWS TO YOURSELVES!! Soun: Please forgive me Kasumi, it was completely thoughtless of me... Panda: [sign] Don't hurt me! Ranma: Hmmm, I see her condition hasn't changed a bit. Akane: Sometimes it's almost as if she becomes another person. Ranma: Sort of like a split-personality? Great, we can start calling her Kasumi 1/2.... Akane: Sh!!! She might hear you.... And this is no time to make jokes.. Kasumi: Goodbye. I'll be arriving home late. Akane: At times she seems normal but at other times she acts much more wilder and agressive. [ voices outside ] Man1: Good afternoon Kasumi-chan. Kasumi: Good afternoon. Man2: Hello, Kasumi-chan, where are you headed with those brownies? Do you plan to see Tof-.. Kasumi: Mind your own business! And get out of my way! [ back in the Tendo Home ] Soun: Although we may be suffering, how are the rest of my children doing? Will the Tendo generation be able to continue? Akane: Don't worry about us father! Ranma: Yeah, we're young and strong. We can survive... Akane: We can withstand this hardship... Ranma: Besides Akane could use the diet... [ Akane pluments Ranma through the air ] Akane: I'm sorry if you think my body is fat! [ Next Day at School ] Girl1: Akane, I've never seen you eat so much at lunch before. Girl2: Yeah, and you look like you're actually losing weight too.. Akane: Don't worry about < swallow> me.... I can't keep eating leftover sushi and pizza, it's starting to make me sick. At this rate I may have to break into my funds and start going to restaurants. Well if your friend had a concussion then something like that might happen. You see Akane-chan, in the usual case a bump on the head just causes people to only seem to act in a very adverse manner. In fact inner feelings and inhibitions are just given some sort of escape route. Akane: Nn? Tofu: Irritation and a quick temper usually arise, caused by the person's vent up frustrations that finally have an excuse to be released,... Ranma: Hmmm... Tofu: ...or it could just be caused by the intense pain from the injury that keeps lingering on. [ Insert your favorite look on Ranma and Akane ] Tofu: But this behavior often stops in a short time.. Akane: And if it doesn't? Tofu: Then the case might actually be serious... and the person should seek immediate medical help because he will be prone to very unstable spontaneous and uncharacteristic behavior. But let's talk over some tea and refreshments. Ranma: Are these muffins okay? Tofu: Help yourself Ranma, actually those muffins were given to me by.... Kasumi...!!!!! Akane: Oh no. Tofu: Ha HA! Yes aren't these muffins wonderful? They smell good! They're so soft to the touch! Ranma: But about head injuries... Tofu: Head injuries?!? Well, now you know what not to do! Here have a muffin! They're delicious! [ Tofu-sensei proceeds to first shove a muffin down Ranma's throat and then into his skeleton's mouth ] Ranma: ...! Tofu: Eat up Betty-chan! You're much too thin, you need to gain more weight! HA HA HA HA! Akane: Let's go Ranma Ranma: Iee kaunt breet.... [ Back at the Tendo Home ] Akane: So what do you think about what Tofu-sensei said? Ranma: Before he went crazy? I'm not sure, I have to think about it... Akane: Hello!
