Emanating from it are the usual sounds of yelling and screaming and property being damaged. ] Ranma: Come back here, you pig! Akane: Ranma, leave P-chan alone! [ P-chan is running under various tables and around plants and swerving around corners. Ranma is following by jumping over the tables, spinning around the plants, and bouncing off the walls to get around the corners, Akane is following as best as she, when she approaches the tables she slows down to walk around them and starts speeding up only to bump into the plants and then trips as she runs around the corners. ] [ Admist the chaos Genma and Soun are playing their usual game while Kasumi is preparing dinner and Nabiki is hanging out listening to her CD's and filling out some bank statements ] Kasumi: Dinner is ready everyone! Genma: Your daughter Kasumi is truly amazing Tendo-kun. She takes on so much responsibility. You are very lucky to have her. Soun: Yes, I really don't know what I would do without her. When her mother passed on Kasumi immediately took on the household duties. She was the strong one that held this family together. I almost cracked, but not Kasumi, no matter what happened she endured every hardship we faced never complaining. Genma: It's a shame your other daughters aren't cut from the same mold. Soun: Well, Kasumi had to start raising them and I admit that they aren't perfect but I think we did a fairly good job concerning the circumstances. [ In Nabiki's room, she's on the telephone ....] Nabiki: .... Yes, I want to place a bet on horse number 5.... That's right... Yes I know the odds.... Make the payments in the usual account.... Hey, have I ever lost before?...... [ Back in the living room ] Kasmui: Father, Mr. Saotome, dinner is ready. Soun: Thank you Kasumi, could you please call the others. Kasumi: Yes, father. [ Back at the chase scene, P-chan is runing on the stairway railing but Ranma runs and outpaces P-chan just in front of Nabiki's room ] Ranma: Ha! Finally caught you, you pig! .... Hmm, isn't that Nabiki's voice? [ Akane finally catches up to Ranma, all sweaty, panting, tired and really vexed off as usual ] Akane: Ra- - nma - ..... Ranma: Nn? Akane: ... YOU IDIOT!!!!! [ Akane takes some swings at Ranam who of course deftly dodges them all. But Ranma takes a couple of steps backward and starts to fall off the railing but he quickly regains his balance. Then P-chan bites him and Ranma loses his concentration and they both fall off ] Kasumi: Akane! Ran.... [ Ranma falls head first right on top of Kasumi ] Akane: ..... [ Akane quickly runs down ] Akane: P-chan! Oh thank goodness you're alright [ Akane hugs P-chan in her usual manner ] Ranma: [ to himself ] Yes, I'm okay, I've just got a bad headache, don't worry about me Lucky for me something broke my fall.... [ Ranma finally notices he's on top of someone. Ranma and Akane realizes who it is ] Ranma & Akane: !!!!! [ Meanwhile back in the living room, the others are waiting... ] Soun: Quickly, where's Kasumi?!?! Dinner is burning! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= [ In another room Kasumi is lying down with a towel on her head still unconscious while the others are looking on with concerned expressions.] Nabiki: Well dinner is ruined. How is she doing? Soun: [ crying ] Oh Kasumi please be alright. Ranma: I think she's fine. I checked her out. She just had a big bump on her head. She should just have a nasty headache. Akane: Ranma, this is all your fault! I hope you apologize to Kasumi when she wakes up. Ranma: My fault!! Why if... Nabiki: Hey, she's stirring Kasumi: Uhhhhhh. Akane: Sister, are you alright? Kasumi: [ weakly ] Oh, what happened to me? Soun: Kasumi, please forgive Ranma... Ranma: Hey! Kasumi: Something hit me on the head... OH!! Everyone: WHAT!!!!! Kasumi: Dinner! What happened to it? [ Every one groans and falls flat on their faces (ed note: I just had to add this!) ] Soun: It's okay Kasumi, you can make it again. Akane: Father!! Kasumi needs her rest. Don't worry, I'll fix dinner! Ranma: Are you crazy? I think Kasumi has had enough punishment for one day. Akane: What do you mean by that!? Are you saying I can't cook? Ranma: Well if the waistline fits the body.... Akane: Grrr! Kasumi: STOP! I have a headache, I don't want to deal with this. Father, can we just order out? Soun: Of course, Kasumi, we'll order anything you want. Kasumi: [ Smiling ] Any-thing? Why tha-nk you father. Ranma: Nn? Man3: Can someone sign for 25 pounds of imported Swiss Chocolate ? Man4: 40 pounds of french caviar is ready.... ......... Soun: Are you sure Kasumi ordered all this?! Nabiki: Father! Sister is very sick right now, Are you going to deny her a simple indulgence? Soun: Well, err, ummm.... Man5: Where should I put this 5-man CD Player with the new amplified stereo system? Nabiki: No, I'm talking about Kasumi. Haven't you noticed she's been acting a little differently lately? Akane: [ concerned ] Like what? Ranma: Come off it Nabiki, stop trying to pull one of your fast ones. We're not *that* stupid. What about all that junk you ordered? You're just trying to turn a profit and using Kasumi as an excuse. Nabiki: Are you talking about last night? Well I only ordered one tiny extra thing. Everything else Kasumi ordered herself. Here's even the list she gave me to order. Akane: That's Kasumi's handwriting, I recognize it. Ranma: Please.... I wouldn't put a simple handwriting forging past you Nabiki. Nabiki: Well if you didn't notice it yet, Kasumi is out of bed, it's dinner time, but there's no dinner. Ranma: Hey you're right! Wait a minute, She just recovered from an injury, give her some time... [ Suddenly the air is filled with some shouting. Curious, the threesome investigate the sounds, which happen to be come from the living room ] Kasumi: MAKE DINNER!!!?!?! Soun: [ trembling ] I just asked if you were up to making dinner tonight... Kasumi: Listen up old man! I've been making your stupid dinner for the past 4 years! I've been doing all the work while you've been filling your belly! Well I'm tired of it! As far as I'm concerned, you can make your own meals tonight, and tomorrow and the night after that. In fact... I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO MAKE DINNER EVER AGAIN! (ed note: I got this line from some guy on shampoo-l but forgot his name, sorry) [ Kasumi, rips off her apron, throws it into Soun's face and storms off ] Ranma: I think we have a problem.... [ Kasumi comes back in ] Kasumi: And you can do your own housework as well! Ranma: A BIG problem..... [ Genma, who has just appeared goes over to Ranma ] Genma: Ranma, I want to talk to you privately. Ranma: What's up dad? Genma: It's about Kasumi... [ Genma takes Ranma aside ] Ranma: Yeah, I just saw, what are we going to do.... Genma: Ranma! I just want to say, this is private family affair. We are to stay out of it. Ranma: But... Genma: Ranma!
