It is the very best site I must say...very completed and splendid. Thanks for yr. hard works. Oh! I could tell ya that I kept watching the whole series for consecutive four days like a rally. Inserting those VCDs into my player one by one w/o getting any sense of tiring, I 'm so into it. A whole set of albums is already bought and have been playing nite and day. Thank you Kennedy for making such a good Homepage for LV I saw LV this spring, and I love it! I became a big fan of Tomoko & Takuya Takuya is very famous and popular in Taiwan, because he is so cool and good-looking. I thought he is just an idol or he always play the roles such as a bad boy or something else like that. But I'm wrong, Sena is a shy guy, and he acted so good! Then I knew why is so popular with people. There are many LV fans in Taiwan just like me, though the drama have not showed on TV but many people buy or rent tapes.

Hi Kennedy,    I'd like to thank you for your efforts for making such a wonderful homepage.  It is the best Long Vacation homepage that I've ever seen.  I like Long Vacation very much, it's my favourite Japanese Drama, and the soundtrack is good too.  Actually, when I've first heard from my friend about LV, I was not interesting with it, just because I don't like Takuya Kimura, however, my friend highly recommend it to me,  so I tried to watch it.  To my suprised, when I started to watch it, I just can't stop, I used only 2 days to finish the whole series, it's so touching.  Now, I'm not only fan of Long Vacation, I'm also fan of Takuya Kimura, he is so charming and I was impressed by his great performance.  I'm now watching Love Generation, it's still playing in Japan every Monday, fortunately, I can buy VCD in Hong Kong on Thursday (just later than Japan for 3 days),  and as fan of Long Vacation, I still think Long Vacation is the best!   Sherrie

Dear Kennedy, Thanks a lot for your work, the LV homepage is my favourite page! I havejust finished the drama over this weekend. (i buy a VCD set). I immediately fall in love with it, and getting mad with Kimura. I was very touched by his acting, OF course Tomoko's also. My favourite scene is Minami playing piano for Sena, and the second favourite one is Sena dropping the elastic ball to the ground floor. Now is Autumn 1997 already, i think i should watch this wonderful drama earlier. My mother love this drama also. We planned to organise a LV trip toTokyo in 1998!!! Again, Thank you! Jamie

hi kenedy,wassup? i love your homepage really much, grrrrreat job done. i have been a fan of LONG VACTION 4 over a year, i first watched it when it aired in SF. i didn't catch the wahole thing so i had to borrow it from someone. well i have to say, this drama is spectacular, fascinating,etc. the fact of putting two really popular people together, the lady olderthan the guy, and still have so much chemistry. i became a huge fan of YAMGUCHI TOMOKO(she's sooooooo beautiful) KIMURA TAKUYA(he's soooo fine), and of course LONG VACATION. i didn't think they were good-looking until i finished the drama and witnessed their talents, especially takuya. this drama is so real, it applys to me a lot. the music, the people, evey part of this drama is BEEEAUUTIFULLLLL. i just can't get over it.i have the LONG VACATION withdrawal syndromn too. i recommend this drama to all the people that haven't seen it before. again thank you for ur good work.my last words r, I LOVE HAYAMA MINAMI, SENA HIDETOSHI,(yamaguchi tomoko, kimura takuya)n LONG VACTION RULZZZZ 4-EVA!!!!!!!!!!-May

Hi, I am Lily from Canada. I have finished "LV" and "LG". I think "LV" impresses me more, not only the story but also the songs played in piano. Therefore, I have bought the soundtracks. Unfortunately, we don't have the whole set for sale here and I got only two of them. After watching "LV", I found myself crazy about Takuya and I want to know more about him. i don't know why i would search LV site during 3 am in the morning. I feel kind of strange but i know i have loved the drama already. Damn, it's out 2 years ago.....i feel kind of "out-dated" for watching it now. Actually i loved watching Japanese Drama long time ago but i just do not have chance to watch a whole complete drama. I'm not japanese, so each time i have to watch through the television with English or Chinese translation. To me, LV means a lot. After i watched it, i feel so "awkward" and sad cuz i really want to have such "situation" as the actor does. But in reality, everything is different. THe real life is boring and nothing special. That's why i love watching movies and drama, it gives us a dream and a memorial thought.(if that movie is good) I don't know i just love the actress so much. she is about my aunt's age but i still love her. Yeah, they are rite, God always give us the long vocation at anytime and in anyplace. We should enjoy it.....but i know it's hard. Those romantic scenes in LV are actually possible in real life, but i don't think it would happen to me. Anyways, good work, -K-. Ryo from SF-98

Hi, perhaps my email is too late for the drama was done in 1996. I got to recommend by a friend in HK to watch the whole set of LV series and now am hooked!! Its the most fantastic, romantic & meaningful drama I've seen so far. I was very touched by each CD while I watched. However, I thank you for such a website which I never thought I will find it. I almost screamed like hell when I got this website where I could even got those midi files! I would like to thank you for your superb Long Vacation webpage! Frankly say, this is the first Japanese drama I saw, and I just fell in love with it!  The acting in there is so natural.  It is because of this drama that I started to watch Japanese drama.   Before I wasn't interested in watching Japanese drama at all when my friend introduced them to me.  I wasn't even interested in the dramas of my own language, how could I like some drama that's not even in my language!  But I was totally wrong.    Long Vacation is simply one of the best drama I have ever seen.  It is not like other dramas which you can simply forget after you watch them.  This one teaches me a lot of things about life, career, love, and making choices.  It makes me to think about it over and over again when I finish watching it!   Again, I want to thank you  for creating this page and keep

Hi K, Thank you very much for your great "Long Vacation" website which is one of the best five websites I have ever browsed. And I am so happy to find that so many people like LV as well. In the drama, the most touching part to me is the implication of the theme: Long Vacation. And that is also why the series is so-called.  Moreover, I find the Fans Speak Page is very nice and lovely as well. In fact, I never spent time on reading the so called Guest Book on web

Hi Kennedy!  What a wonderful page you have there, I must thank you for letting me obtaining more knowledge on my favourite drama of all time! I must admit that I was skeptic about how this drama would turn out when I borrowed it from my friend, but from the moment I saw the opening I was stuck there watching continously for 4 and half hour and finally went to sleep only because I had to go to school tomorrow.  Actually I've heard Long Vacation a long time ago but I was ill prejudiced towards all soap and dramas thus didn't try it out earlier(how dumb of me) however I finally tried it out due to the overwhelming recommendation I received from my friend, and from then onwards I've become a Japanese Drama addict.  The story in Long Vacation is the best I've seen in my life and the excellent acting all contributes to this fantastic all-time classic!  Long Vacation had such a big impact on my view towards life that I started doing better at
school!  The opening theme song is also a blast and I've been listening it non-stop after I finished watching Long Vacation. Now I heartely recommend LV to all my friends and even though a sequel is not quite possible (don't try to fix something that's not broken, a bad sequel might ruin its reputation), a similar drama released near the future will definitely be nice! Dear Kennedy:  I am kind of regret that I find out your webpage so late.  I was a japan drama fan back in high school and haven't seen it for a long time.  After I finished my degree in USA,  I start to rent japan drama tape.  They recommend me LONG VACAION by that time it was already 7/97.  I know Kimutaku for a while but never had a chance to see his performance.  After watching LV,  I am madly in love with the LV music, scence & kimtaku and start to watch other drama.  As you know, in LA, there are too few cds or info about LV or japan stars.  I am glad that I finally found you!!!  I really admire Japan drama crew, writers, directors, and composers.  They have so much imagination to create such a beatiful story.  Just can't help to fall in love with them..   It is really hard to create another LV. After watching the series of Long Vocation half a year ago I'm now hooked to Japanese series.   Since than I've also watched series like "Love generation" and "With Love". I really like them!!!  Well anyway, from that day on I've built an interest in Japs music. I've tried everything and everywhere to look for the song and lyics from these series but the result was that I can only fine the song called "Hear me cry" from LG. Great LV page.  I became a fan last year when I saw the show on weekend Japanese programming station.  It was my second dorama and I've been hooked since (nothing's been quite as good).  LV still stands out as the best b/c it seems to transcend Japanese culture and really touch upon what all people feel--the need to love and be loved and the desire to have passion in one's life and the things we do.  I think that LV is such a sophisticated story because it really is more than a love story.  It is about how people grow up and grow into themselves.   One thing I've noticed was that whoever the writer of the dorama was (do you know?) was quite careful in designing the characters in the story.  For example, Minami's character was given an Aires birthsign.  Her brother was Sagitarrius, blood type O.   They fit their signs very closely.  I was impressed!  I wonder what the other character's signs are?  I would guess Senna is a water sign and Minami's girlfriend is an air sign.  If you haven't heard, Cagnet has two new albums out.   One is Cagnet Music Generation and the other is Cagnet Song Generation.  The first is instrumentals and the second are vocals from LV and Love Generation.  Very nice.-Ed, NYC

What can I say? Long Vacation is probably one of the best drama series I've ever seen!!!! Never has a drama touched me that deeply, and never have I seen a drama series having such and such awesome musics which match just too well with each scene!! I really love Long Vacation as much as Minami and Senna love each other. In fact, I feel uncomfortable all the time since I finished watching all 11 episodes, because you know, I miss the characters a lot... I don't want it to be ended that quickly, and I think it should have more, maybe 30 or 50 episodes would be the best. But anyways, just wanna share my feelings on this awesome drama series. I am waiting for LongVacation 2, tho it might never come out, since you know, putting more stuffs in the story might produce a negative result, the story already ended in a perfect condition. oh well. thank you for your long vacation page!!! The BEST LV page as i've seen!!!! LongVacation will stay in everybody's mind forever!!! Take it out and watch it some dozen years later, and you will feel as good as the first time you watch it!!
