I apologize if I can't write back to many of you as quickly as I'd like (due to my work schedule) but I just want to let you know that I'm very happy to read every letter I get on Long Vacation. So many times we are caught up with our school degrees, our careers, our problems that we forget that we are human...we are not just "hito" but "ningen"....I think sometimes we get so caught up in the pressures of society that we forget to fall in love! glad that I can find this "Long Vacation" homepage, because
after I have seen this drama, I just can't help to fall in love with
it. It's really good I think and I want to find something concerning
this but it is rather difficult to me because I lack any information
on this drama except the orginal soundtrack. So when I find out this
page, I think you can't image how happy I am. So, Thank You for creating
this homepage........In addition, after I listened the soundtrack,
I just find so many beautiful melodies and lysics(the words are really
touching). My
wife and I went to the video store and rented the first episode of
Long Vacation. I was generally against it because I have seen thousands
of Japanese dramas and I generally felt that they were always overacted.
Then I watched Long Vacation. Big Suprise!!!. With the exception of
one or two actresses, this was a superbly conceived and acted drama
with (even bigger suprise) a happy ending. I never really got into
mens groups like SMAP or Hikaru Genji so I was even more distressed
when I heard a SMAP member was starring. I was wrong again. Kimura
Takuya delivered a top notch performance! Sign this guy up for Hollywood!
I was already impressed by Yamaguchi Tomoko from earlier rolls. I
think she's a natural. Now I also feel the same about Kimura Takuya
as well. Hey!!
Your Long Vacation's Homepage is excellent, because I just rented
the tape from rental shop, L.V. is really excellent!! But I have a
question, do you know the address of Sena Hidetoshi's home?? I mean
the apartment in L.V., do you know where is it??? Moreover, after
watching the whole Long Vacation, I really don't know at the roof
floor, what's that adverstisment boarding selling?? Is it selling

I just saw your home page about the Japanese drama series "Long
Vacation." It was awesome and impressive. Like you, I'm also
a fan of the show when it aired here in San Jose, CA a couple of months
ago. It was not like the Filipino drama series I watch every weekends,
which are really corny and lame. This was different coz the story
plus the characters are so interesting and enjoyable. Just tonight,
I watched the last episode, though it was kinda sad that it ended,
the story left with a good note( I'm sure you already had watched
this show way before it aired in TV in CA). I really like the songs
in the show though I don't know the titles when I went to your web
page. You talked about numerous soundtracks from the show. I really
really would love to get a hold of these soundtracks but I don't know
where to buy them. Please tell me where I can buy the CDs here in
San Jose, CA and if I can order in the Internet because I'm still
a new Internet user. I'm sure you know where to get these soundtracks
and I would really appreciate if you would just give me a hand. Plus
my sister in law is bugging me on where to get these soundtracks.

I finally have a copy of the original soundtrack of Long Vacation. Thanks for the info. I loved it, especially the last two English songs, although the others were great too. When I went to Kinokuniya Bookstores, they were out of the CD sets that was about 60 dollars something and the new orders will arrive next month. The only one left was the first soundtrack, the very last copy of the store. And so I bought it even though the CD set was a great deal. I couldn't wait. Most of the songs from the drama I liked were in the first CD anyways, so it's alright, although the opening song wasn't. The sales lady was even surprise when I was looking for the CD. Of course, who would not. Imagine I'm not even Japanese and I'm looking for Japanese songs. I told her I watch the drama, and enjoyed it, and she did too. She also told me that they ran out of the CD sets because they were such in great demand. Hi,
