SPEED is on the Toy's Factory Label
SPEED is a young group from the popular Okinawan Talent school (the same school Amuro Namie, MAX, Chinen Rina and D&D are from). The girls consist of the two lead vocalists Shimabukuro Hiroko and Imai Eriko with two background dancers/vocalists, Arakaki Hitoe and Uehara Takako. The four rocked Japan with the song "Body & Soul" in 1996 and spurted cool fashion trends and its amazing that the lead singer at that time, Hiroko was only 12 years of age. SPEED has now broken up and each girl are now pursuing solo careers.
