>#1: What JPOP song do you like to sing a lot? >#2: Any embarassing moments? >#3: Do you dance when you sing those JPOP songs? >#4: Any memorable moments? >#5: Your latest JPOP karaoke moment ========================================================================== FROM CHRISTINA ========================================================================== I haven't done Karaoke in a long time and to tell the truth I really missed them. I used to go to this place in Berkeley called "Cafe Jun" with another guy, Pow-min Wang, who is also on the list. Whenever I go there(during the spring of 94, I went there once or twice) and did on average 9 songs(my best record is 21 on one night). Basically I do both male and female vocalists, but I like to female songs more. Here are some of the songs I have sung before: ZARD(I have sung all of her stuffs from good-bye my loneliness to ai ga mienai). Her stuffs are actually, in my opinion, easiest among the female artists for a guy to sing. I usually use a range 1 octave up the range I use for male vocalists to sing ZARD's songs. "fushigine", "kittowasurenai", "oh my love" are my favorites I do all the time. Sometimes if I feel a bit sentimental, I would do "high heel o nugisutete", "in my arms tonight", "mousukoshi atosukoshi". One time after I finished singing "makenaide", a Japanese from another table came to me and told me she thought Sakai Izumi was singing. later she invited to sing "oh my love" with her. Nakayama Miho(I did "korekara no I love you" all the time. My favorite is still 'tadanakitakunaruno" which really brought that romantic atmosphere. "sekaiju no dareyori kitto" was another of hers I like to sing. miscellaneous-Ohashi Junko "ai wa toki o koete", Takahashi Mariko "hagayui kuchibiru", Gao "sayonara", Hirose Kohmi "dramatic ni koishite", Imai Miki "piece of my with" "hitomi ni hohoemukara" "boogie-woogie lonesome highheel", trf "survival dance" "boy meets girl", Manish "ashita no story", P2 "sekaide ichiban atsui natsu", Wada akiko "datte shouganaijyanai", uchida yuki "tenca o toroo", Fujitani Miwako "ai ga umareta hi", okamoto mayo "tomorrow". male artists: I did alot of them, but "hanashitakuwanai" by T-Bolan was still my favorite, thanks James Liu, who taught me this song. Also I like to sing Kusunose Seishiro's "kimi to arukitai" with female guests present. I did Anri's "dolphin ring" like 20 times, and I will sing this when I propose to my future wife. A good way to dump the girl you don't want is to do "wakaremashoo watashikara kiemashoo anatakara" and sing the part "joudanjyanai doujo no sex, mitakunai baka na onna" loud so she knows you want her to disappear. Lately, I have been doing L-R's knocking on your door", Go hiromi's "aitakuteshikatanai" alot. But during the christmas season, I wouldn't mind singing dual dream's "winter kiss" repetitively.
