TVXQ fans just alerted us that our global fan photos for our upcoming Tohoshinki special feature were used on a Korean newscast. Cool! I know…they didn’t give J!-ENT credit but still, this article is much more for the group and their fans and what’s important is the fans worldwide have been acknowledge in Korea. So, for that…I’m happy for them!

I want to thank everyone for their submissions. In a little over a month, we have received submissions to I believe fans from over 40 countries. The fan support has been incredible and I want to thank everyone for participating.

Unfortunately, because I have received several hundred submissions (this is within the six hours before deadline was over), I can not e-mail everyone to confirm that I received it.

Hi everyone,

I typically don’t post information like this without an official press release in hand or official confirmation but because it is time sensitive in the purchasing of tickets, you may want to act on it ASAP!

BoA and DongBangShinKi (aka for the fans of their Japanese music as Tohoshinki or TVXQ) are performing in the USA.

There are two concerts in Los Angeles.

The Peace (www.thepeaceconcert.com) takes place next week which BoA (and many more artists) will perform.

Then there is the Korean Music Festival, the big one which is by the Korean Times.

Again, I can’t commit to any information more than that until I get official word. I have contacted the Korean Times for their May 17th event at the Hollywood Bowl.

For our upcoming TVXQ special feature, we have interviewed many people including cosplay and choreography groups but one that really caught our attention was the lipsyncbros (Roy and Wayne) from New Jersey.

Similar to the Back Dorm Boys from China who popularized the lip sync phenomenon on YouTube with their rendition of “I want it that way” and many other artists, the lipsyncbros only focus on Tohoshinki.

These guys are actually fans of the group and try to share their humor which some may find humorous and some will find upsetting. In our spotlight section, we talk to the guys and ask them if they really do like TVXQ and they answered:

HELL YES! Like we said, our mp3 players are filled with all their music. Unfortunately, many people have left us hate mail thinking that we dislike DBSK and that we are mocking them. They think we are trying to be them. WE ARE NOT! We love their music and everything about them. We’re just having a little fun with our idols.
