Original Super Monkeys and MAX member MINA (30) has officially returned to the group.

In 2002, MINA left after getting married and having a child, the singer/dancer wanted to focus on parenting.  She was replaced by AKI (28) who left the group in August to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter.  With MINA’s children (a son at age 6 and daughter at age 4) now getting older, MINA decided it was the right time to return to the group.

As for MAX, the group will release a best album titled “NEW EDITION ~MAXIMUM HITS~” to be released on December 10th and on January 31st, will host a revival live performance at CC Lemon Hall.

I was wondering what happened to Mina, former member of MAX. Haven’t heard from her since she left the group but noticed a string of videos of her on Okinawan Idol (which fellow Okinawan friends Amuro Namie and SPEED’s Uehara Takako are also part of the show). So, here are some clips of her from the show from last year.
