Celebrities Akina Minami, 19, and Aki Hoshino, 31, were on hand Thursday at a joint promotional event “Coke Glass Campaign” by McDonald’s Japan and Coca Cola Japan. The two introduced special glass presents which will be given to customers who order sepcial sets that feature L-size drinks and fried potatoes.

Meeting reporters at the launch in Tokyo, Hoshino said: “On the first day of production in LA in April, I suddenly felt unwell. Our staff called an ambulance and I was taken to hospital where several patients were handcuffed. They must have been prisoners from somewhere.”

JapanToday.com reported, “Pin-up model Aki Hoshino, 31, has just released her new DVD photo book “SNEAKER LOVER” in Tokyo. Hoshino, who calls herself “the oldest bikini model,” said, “I always wear jeans and sneakers on my days off.”

Hoshino Aki (30) will be releasing her upcoming photobook titled “SNEAKER LOVERS” on February 1st. The photos were taken in Hong Kong and Macau back in November.

The book will cost Y1,785 and Hoshino will be taking part in a commemoration event in Ginza.

Mainichi Daily News reported, “On Jan. 21, pin-up idol Aki Hoshino attracted audience attention as she appeared in a bee costume for a preview of the animated film “Bee Movie. ”

“I’d like to keep on working, and since I can’t give orders, I guess I’m a working bee, not a queen bee,” Hoshino said.

“I will continue to work as a pin-up idol,” the 30-year-old Hoshino said, declaring that she would keep breaking the record as the oldest active pin-up idol.
