a-nation 2008 festival ends with an exciting rain-filled final performance and surprise announcements made during the weekend

Not even the rain could stop the excitement at Ajinomoto Inc. Stadium on August 31st for the final showdate for avex’s summer festival a-nation.
45,000 excited fans came to watch their favorite performances from Hamasaki Ayumi, Amuro Namie, Koda Kumi, Every Little Thing, globe, Goto Maki and many more.
The big surprise announcements were made this weekend with DO AS INFINITY announcing that they will reunite.
Also, another surprise reveal made on the final day of a-nation was that globe will be releasing a new CD single (2 years and 3 months later) on November 26th and it will be a cover of TM NETWORK’s “GET WILD”.

A pregnant hitomi performs at a-nation

hitomi (32) made news in June announcing her shotgun marriage (after divorcing six months earlier) and that she is pregnant.
The singer performed at the avex summer music festival a-nation on August 30th sporting a maternity dress, a wedding adress said that she will have her honeymoon in Athens, Greece in October and that told the audience that she has a baby in her stomach and that means she has twice as much energy for her performance.

Japantoday.com reported, “Music label Avex’s annual summer open-air live concert “a-nation” will be held in five cities from Aug 8. According to the organizers, the event will kick off in Aichi Prefecture and tour Miyazaki, Ishikawa, Osaka, Aichi and Tokyo. In the Miyazaki event, Gov Hideo Higashikokubaru will attend as a special guest.”
