Oricon Charts: Top 10 Albums of 2008

So, who came out on top in 2008 for album releases in Japan.  Oricon Charts has their rankings at the #1 album of 2008 is:

NOTE: While the Johnny’s Jimusho claimed the many spots on the top 10 CD singles, Avex/Rhythm Zone claimed the album cahrts.  For the album charts, the Japan Record Awards winner of artists of the year EXILE was also on top in the Oricon rankings with 3 of their albums on the top 10.  It was a year in which both Namie Amuro and EXILE  were in neck to neck competition as the albums that surpassed over a million in sales and in the end, EXILE was the winner.
