[JAPAN] X Japan announces that they will perform at Madison Square Garden, NYC

Japantoday.com reported, “Popular rock band X JAPAN on Thursday said they will perform live at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sept 13, following a Paris gig on July 5. At a press conference, drummer/pianist YOSHIKI said, “When I saw a reunion concert by KISS in 1996, I wanted to do the same thing. I would like sing for my fans abroad. I also wish to have concerts in Asia, Europe and Latin America like the ones we did at Tokyo Dome.”

“YOSHIKI also said the band may have to take on a new guitarist for some new songs.”

    I really hope they come to Canada, although I guess I could do the seven hour road trip and go to NY.

    Yoshiki is X Japan’s leader, drummer, pianist, main lyricist and composer, but he ISN’T there vocal. That’s Toshi.

    Please correct your faulty information in the news flash.

    Greetings PANTHERENOIRE - The news came from japantoday.com which get’s their news from Kyodo News. But it looks like many other fans have pointed out their mistake and looks like they fixed it. I’ll update it to reflect their updated article.
