Middle-aged Madison Avenue advertising executive Roger O. Thornhill is mistaken for a government agent by a gang of spies. He gets involved in a series of misadventures and is pursued across the States by both the spies and the government whilst being helped by a beautiful blonde. Although not an Academy Award winning film (five time nominated), it is noted by the American Film Institute as one of the top 100 movies of all time.

DVD REVIEW:

I don’t think there’s much I can say for this classic but to say that it is a must-see for movie lovers. So, therefore I will talk about the DVD.

What makes me happy is that this movie has been digitally transferred and looks beautiful on DVD. The audio is now Dolby 5.1 and for a classic, you have a commentary by Lehman and an awesome documentary hosted by Eva Marie Saint. The facts that you learn from the movie is awesome! Also, trailers and production stills. Also, the price of this DVD is very cheap and it’s definitely a must buy for movie fans!

Highly recommended!
