Get me up!!
One of the hottest new sounds, THEE OUT MODS are bringing a major ruckus on today’s punk music scene. The new album “Rock-n-Roll Pirates” is 100% pure energy. I started listening to the opening track “Treasure Island” on my iPod and could not help myself from wanting to stand up and dance. The opening guitar riffs were playfully melodic with steadily beating foot on the bass pedal. Suddenly I hear a powerful voice open forth, “Come on!” as it lead me into an exhilarating voyage.
THEE OUT MODS is composed of three hard-edged members. Frontline vocal and guitarist SANA has a rough and powerful voice. She can be strong yet add a flavorful twist by expressing dramatic changes in the vocals. YOSHIKI on bass exhibits versatility and playfulness on the guitar riffs. On drums, KENNY manifests an explosive range of ability as well as strong attitude in his playing.
“Rock-n-Roll Pirates” has many interesting titles. “Umaku Ikanaize” is an awesome song as it exhibits THEE OUT MODS explosive attitude in its music as well as the lyrics. SANA’s voice is deep, energetic as it gives this song a sexy vigor appeal to it. “Iikagenni Shiyagare!!” is lightning fast with the bass line running through an awesome bliss. “GERO”, one of my personal favorite songs is a fun song with very dynamic edges in the percussive end. “Rokudenashi” is one of the more mellow songs, but through the versatility of the band, it still packs a punch. The album closes with one of my favorite songs so far, the very creative and exciting “It’s you’re life”.
With so many fun songs, THEE OUT MODS puts together an awesome compilation that would be enjoyable by many audiences. Judging by these wonderful songs, I am pretty sure they will definitely rock during their live performances. They have an awesome style that is sexy and rough, which goes along with their music. If you are into the rock or punk scene, definitely check out “Rock-n-Roll Pirates”!
[FFXI REPORT] Bangz: Panic! The Return to Vana’Diel! |

Hello everyone! Your favorite tarutaru is backaru. So many changes in the world today, how do these adventurers manage? If only the Moogle in my Mog House would lend me his special powers. I would warp high above the Vana’Diel skies and fly alongside the beautiful comet that I see every night… Well, Kupo!~ My mind tends to wandaru off here and there. Maybe someday you too will experience this wonderful world too!
With the expansion of Wings of the Goddess for Final Fantasy XI, so many new jobs, missions, and quests give players an even more enjoyable experience in this world. Dancer and Scholar become new unlockable jobs that give players even more freedom to play a new style of fighting as well as support. Cait Sith, a mystical cat within the Final Fantasy series is discovered among the new missions in this new expansion. So many goodies to mention, let’s save some and talk about them in more detail in future updates.
One afternoon I decided to take out my chocobo for a walk. Lady Phoenix needs to exercise because she has been gaining weight by being in the stable for days. My lovely red chocobo is such a soft and gentle creature. She was not raised to become a Chocobo Racing champion, rather just a means of helping my short legs when I get tired of walking.
Up ahead i see Ravage and catch up to him. I was shocked, to see his wonderful black chocobo, Ghost Melody! It looks much bigger and stronger now since I last saw him as a baby chick. Ravage mentions that our home city San d’Oria is under attack by the Dark Kindred Army from the Northlands. So we make haste, and rush to help the citizens of our country!
Chaos! Madness! Heroism!
With hordes of armies attacking the home cities, what will happen to the future of our nations?
[FFXI REPORT] Bangz: Pankration |

Finally, the long waited Pankration has arrived! This new event involves taking pictures of monsters in the wild. This soultrapper collects data of monsters which can be reproduced to fight in “The Colosseum”With much hesitation, I always wondered how this new event would be. I saw Amaiyume waiting around in Aht Urgan Whitegate so I asked her if she wanted to go out and take some pictures of beasts that we will be taming for Pankration.

We headed out to The Boyadha Tree because she was interested in capturing a Mandoragora. We traveled into a dangerous area where we were attacked by crabs, but we survived with the data we needed. Afterwards we went to Ro’meave where I took pictures of Doll type monsters. We return to Whitegate and anxiously wait for our turn to watch the monsters fight in the arena!

We ended up having alot of fun watching the monsters fight. This Pankration thing is very addicting! Alot of our friends wonder where we are, and they always find us hanging out at The Colosseum. A neat thing about Pankration is that we have the ability to level up our monsters and customize their fighting abilities.
In other news, I finally reached level 75!

Without all of my friends I dont think I could’ve reached this level, therefore I am very grateful. So many hours of soloing and duoing which is a very difficult thing to do in Vana’diel.

[FFXI REPORT] Bangz: Battle with Shiva |

Upon reaching level 65 as a Puppetmaster, I decided that upgrading my current weapon would be my first priority. Shiva, the beautiful queen of the winters, has an item that can be very useful to a Puppetmaster at this level. These icy claws are sharp, have great accuracy, and an additional effect which paralyzes the enemy. Then I pondered to myself on how I am going to defeat her. Stumbling into a friend of mine, Lilshippo (also a fellow Tarutaru Puppetmaster as well) sent me a message earlier that day and I replied “Help me defeat Shiva!” My brother Ravage, a Corsair was online at the time and offered to help. So we all agreed and began making our way into the cold castle, Fei Yin, in the north.

With almost no hesitation we entered the Ice Protocrystal to fight against the ice queen herself, Shiva. Lilshippo summons Ifrit to aid us. Ifrit, a powerful avatar of the fire element was too strong for an enemy made from ice. Ravage uses his ability to make avatars even more powerful, while I stood back and supported my team with my healing magic. After just a few minutes the mighty Shiva falls. Mission accomplished! Thanks to Ravage and Lilshippo, I return home to San d’Oria with my awesome new weapons.

Summer time can be a fun time for everyone in Vana’diel. One of the first events held this summer was Celestial Nights. This event is pretty much a “haiku” writing event. Members from different linkshells will compose a poem which will then be posted on this tree where everyone can read them. Me being somewhat of a poetic tarutaru myself I decided to share a couple of them too all of my wonderful friends:
- Chocobo -
Across wide plateau
We dash, sweet feathered friend
My party awaits!
There is another event called the “Test of Bravery”. In this event, we must partner up to find certain goal points in various dungeons in Vana’diel. My friend Emm, a level 75 White mage, called to my attention that we should try out this new event. We started in the city of San d’Oria.

We then headed to Castle Oztroja, home of many dangerous Yagudo tribes. Yagudo are bird beastmen that controlled much of the land surrounding the federation of Windhurst. Emm and I were warped to that castle to find a certain “Goal Points” located throughout the castle.

Placing us in dangerous areas of the castle we sneaked our way hoping to find our destinations. As soon as we reached the goal point, a moogle suddently appeared before us. This frightened us and doing so, this moogle took a picture of us as we just stared, terrified at this sight. The moogle thought it was very amusing, then warped us back to the city where we gained prizes for participating in the event. Our prizes were M & P meatsticks …

Linkshell: Heaven’s Drive

Hello I am Bangz. I have multiple jobs on the world called Pandemonium. I am always seen with my friends. We have our own linkshell (guild) called Heaven’s Drive. Just to name a few of my jobs, I am a black mage, samurai, bard, and playing currently as a puppetmaster. Living in Vana’diel is a pretty exciting experience. We have the choice to become any job we want to in this world. Through much practice, hard work, perseverance, and friendships, one can become an expert at any job they partake.
Puppetmaster is one of the new jobs introduced into Vana’diel since the latest expansion. This job is interesting in that the player has a puppet that one must control and modify to aid during a battle. Being introduced as a solo job, this is one of more difficult yet experimental jobs to be discovered by skeptical puppetmasters throughout Vana’diel. This job will be difficult so, please wish me luck!
