[US] Warner Bros. invests in second HK film, DiCaprio to star

With the success of Warner Bros. first major investment of “Infernal Affairs” (which was redone in the US aka “The Departed”) and having won several Academy Awards for the film, Warner Bros. has invested in “Confessions of Pain” according to CRIEnglish.com and a well-known star to be part of the film.

According to the article, “The Hollywood Reporter says that William Monahan, the screenwriter for “The Departed,” is writing a script for the new film. The story tells of a former cop who investigates the murder case of his best friend’s father-in-law and discovers a series of dark secrets about his friend.”
