[JAPAN] NHK President resigns after employee’s insider trading scandal

Mainichi Daily News reported, “The president of public broadcaster NHK has announced his intention to resign over an insider-trading scandal involving three employees.”"Genichi Hashimoto made the announcement at a hastily arranged press conference Monday night, only three days before his three-year term expires.”

“My determination to prevent wrongdoing by employees has not spread through the organization. It’s regrettable,” Hashimoto told the press conference.
