In the latest WaiWai translation from Shukan Bunshun, Ryan Connell of Mainichi Daily News wrote, ” Japan is abuzz that hunk actor Shun Oguri and model cum actress Yu Yamada, two of the biggest names in the celebrity world, have confirmed that they’re an item, according to Shukan Bunshun (5/22).”

“Shun Oguri is hot. He’s effectively replaced Takuya Kimura as the man women most want to go to bed with,” an entertainment beat editor tells Shukan Bunshun.

“Oguri and Yamada hit the headlines this week after tabloid magazine Friday caught them on a secret trip together around the Seto Inland Sea.”

“Yamada confirmed they started seeing each other after a party in March to mark the end of a TV show they’d done together,” Masaru Nashimoto, doyen of Japanese showbiz reporters, says.”
