[J-ENT] Mr. Children to sing theme song for NHK Olympics programs

Japantoday.com reported, “Rock band Mr Children will perform the theme song for NHK’s Olympic programs. The new song, titled “GIFT,” will be released on July 30.”

“The official video was filmed at NHK Hall in Shibuya on Monday. Vocalist Kazutoshi Sakurai, 38, said, “The most beautiful sparkling color in the Olympic Games is gold. But I also think there are other colors which are more important and valuable for all the participants.” He said this is what he wants to convey through the song.”
