WHO’S TRANSFORMED THEIR TABLOID DAYS INTO POSITIVE WAYS? OXYGEN COUNTS THEM DOWN IN “OXYGEN’S 25IEST: BAD GIRLS GONE GOOD”

One-Hour Special Premieres Tuesday, December 9 at 11pm ET/PT

NEW YORK – November 14, 2008 – When it comes to the tabloids, no one generates more dish than celebrity bad girls. But in “Oxygen’s 25iest: Bad Girls Gone Good,” the network counts down those who do something even more shocking – they clean up their acts, settle down in their relationships and even pitch in to help the less fortunate. The one hour special premieres Tuesday, December 9 at 11pm ET/PT. The special will follow an all new episode of “Bad Girls Club.”

Oxygen consulted with a “truth squad,” — a team of red carpet experts who weighed in as to who should make the cut. Those chosen are former fallen women who are now good girls with dramatic, surprising and even inspiring turn-arounds. The outcome, in a style befitting Oxygen, is a list mixed with the expected (Paris Hilton and Janice Dickinson) and the unexpected (Shannen Doherty and Fergie). Adding comedic punch and expert opinion to the show are comedians, journalists, fashion designers, and pop culture gurus including the “Go Fug Yourself” bloggers, comedienne Jen Kober, Santino Rice of Project Runway, Patricia Ramos of OK! Magazine, model Sam Sarpong and actress Judy Tenuta.

“These 25 ladies could have been inducted into Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club,” before they turned their lives around” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President of Original Programming, Oxygen Media. “If these girls were the badiest, they’re now the goodiest, and we hope they stay that way.”

“Oxygen’s 25iest: Bad Girls Gone Good” is executive produced by Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato and Tom Campbell of World of Wonder Productions and co-executive produced by Joseph Ferraro from World of Wonder. Based in both Los Angeles and London, World of Wonder is best known for award-winning films and documentaries such as “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” “Party Monster,” HBO’s “Monica in Black and White,” as well as the Bravo non-fiction series “Show Biz Moms & Dads” and the Sundance Channel’s “Transgeneration.” Most recently World of Wonder produced three seasons of Oxygen’s hit series “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing,” the second season of the hit scripted show “The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman” for IFC, “One Punk Under God” for Sundance and “What Perez Sez” for VH1.
