Quintessential globetrotting DJ and Fool’s Gold head honcho A-Trak has undeniably made his mark in the blogosphere. He launched djatrak.com as he embarked on his first world tour with Kanye West and since then, his travel diaries have become the stuff of legends. Chalk that up to his quirky, wide-eyed writing style combined with the extraordinary nature of his anecdotes. Remember the crazy trip to Nigeria? The picture with OJ Simpson? And the sold-out DJ tours in between? Over the years, we’ve also witnessed A-Trak grow into of a bona fide style icon and influence Kanye in his forays into streetwear, electronic music and dare we say, bloggingŠ
More recently, A-Trak has been posting on the Fool’s Gold blog, writing weekly travel narratives for TheFader.com and contributing to the new Colette site. He even started a hugely popular and slightly absurd series of hotel reviews on YouTube. Now in an effort to centralize his tentacular web presence, A-Trak is re-launching a brand new version of djatrak.com. This site will feature the travel journals, YouTube clips and brain farts you’ve grown to expect from him, as well as some new music, fashion, design and philosophical tidbits. He’s even kept an archive of every post he’s ever made over the last four years.
