DVD REVIEW:

The movie is about a deaf man (Kam Shui) who falls for a beautiful woman (Mandy) who stays at his inn.  She starts to have feelings for him but both are not good at saying how they feel.

The other characters are Angel, Kam Shui's bald female friend who fights with him and also speaks sign language. She has a hidden love for him.  There are two other characters, a guy that likes Mandy and Kam Shui tries to help the two to get together.  The other is a gangster who likes Angel and gets in trouble with Kam Shui.

This movie had a lot of potential but the fact that it dealt with gangsters and somewhat of an underground like feeling, the first thing that came into my head is the Japanese drama "Wakamono no Subete" and the movie exactly ended that way with the protagonist receiving something that people weren't expecting.

As for the DVD, it was ok...with occasional artifacting in the dark areas of the film. Sound was totally dialogue and special features were just trailers.

Many people will despise this film for it's ending but those who are tired of happy endings will surely love it.  The moral to this movie is say what you feel to your loved one before it's too late.

As for my feelings of this movie...I'm one of those who like romantic stories with happy endings.
