DVD REVIEW:

I must admit that I wasn't expecting too much from this movie because the DVD was released by a company I never heard of. One of the reasons I purchased it is because a lot of movies starring William So are pretty good and also the cheap price of the DVD.

The movie was better than I expected. But it ranks high up with other HK movies like "True Love" where the movie has you interested in the characters and the storyline then suddenly near the end, the director just wants to crush any happy emotions that you may have.

The movie about four cops who are too preoccupied with work, women, friends or something in their lives and not the people close to them. So, you will have to experience several messed up situations that only you will see in HK movies. A depressing ending! And I'll leave it at that.

The movie does have some problems in certain areas, such as the car scenes and certain editing in a few parts but all in all for what I'm guessing what was a low budget movie, the movie was not bad.

Unfortunately, with the lack of special features of any kind and the lack of removable subtitles gives this DVD a bad rating as a DVD. Even the older movies at least included a trailer or cast info.

So, a story that will make you laugh, smile until the final 15 minutes where your emotions will go astray and you will leave the movie feeling depressed. Don't let the cover of the DVD fool you. Everyone is smiling but trust me, the ending of the movie doesn't give you a reason to smile after you cried a tonful because of the unfortunate things that happen to certain characters. As for the DVD...Well, you do get what you pay for.
