DVD REVIEW:

What can I say but "WOW!" This movie was pretty darn awesome! From the start when you hear L'Arc~en~Ciel's "niji", I knew I was going to dig this movie.

The movie takes place after the TV series and is about a brother, a leader of a clan who wants to gain attention by assasinating a foreign leader. He is also a samurai and a top notched fighter. At the same time, he wants revenge after the person who killed his brother.

Kenshin and the brother become friends until they start to discover that they may have to be enemies.

The story is what is awesome in this series but what may get to people in the constant back and forth change of animation from the "Rurouni Kenshin" TV series style to the serious OAV like style but nevertheless this movie is so awesome!

As for the DVD, unfortunately there is not much in terms of special features unless you include the many trailers.

Anyway, the storyline is what's important and it's a definite must-buy anime DVD for samurai flick anime fans.
