Anime Synopsis:

A tale of love, loss and reincarnation.

Alice is a Japanese schoolgirl who has never thought much about the past…that is, until her classmates, Jinpachi and Issei, tell her that they’ve been sharing the same vivid dreams ever since they were in junior high school. In the dreams, Jinpachi (called Gyokuran in the dream) and Issei (a woman named Enju), plus five other scientists, are on some sort of base or research station on the moon. The seven of them are involved in some kind of work observing the Earth, collecting data. Alice doesn’t think anything of it...until she has the same dream.

Seven scientists born to love and life again.

Based on one of Japan’s most celebrated shojo manga (girls’ comic) series, Please Save My Earth tells the story of those seven scientists from a distant planet, now born again to new lives on the blue Earth they were sent to observe. But what are the secrets of their pasts…and how will those past lives affect their future?

DVD REVIEW:

Please Save My Earth is one of my favorite shojo anime series of all time.  It mixes love, action and really dark situations all together.  What I mean by dark is.  The main story is about five high school students and one little boy.  They are all experiencing the same dreams.  They realize in a past life they were once scientists on a research station on the moon.  Well, they all unite but something goes terribly wrong.

This is a must-see anime.  I wish they didn't use the cover on the box because that may turn people off.  Otherwise this DVD is going to have to sell by word of mouth and I'm telling you...it's good!

The video quality is really nice and the music is beautiful.  This is mainly a dialogue anime series but still, the music comes out of your speakers beautifully.

As for the other special features, most anime at this time don't really have any. But they do provide a F.A.Q. and character profile which was probably from Animerica Magazine (ala VIZ).

A highly recommended anime series!
