Synopsis:
Team Warrior is no
laughing matter for the criminals of Neo-Tokyo. Led by the
fearless Rio, this top-secret counter-terrorist force will stop
at nothing to preserve their version of the peace. From assault
by bungee jump to giant mecha destruction, Rio, Yugi, Maki and
Lilica spare no extreme in the forging of their own brand of
justice. Plagued by kidnapped virtual idols, financial woes and

DVD REVIEW:
This anime is
definitely a male's anime if you compare "Bubblegum
Crisis" with the video game "Dead or Alive" which
is well-endowed women who work outside or for the police.
Already many of the guys who are reading this have now decided to
go out and buy the DVD.
Well before you buy, I
just want to say that the four OAV episodes are collected in one
volume and is way better than the previous Burn Up in story and
character designs.
While the first two
OAV are more fun and trying to introduce the characters (note:
although not an ecchi movie, it does have it's share of adult talk
and a little nudity, thus parents better make sure you don't buy
jr. this DVD thinking it's for kids), the last two get very
serious. How it ends...well, considering that this OAV
series came out a while back in Japan, you can only hope there
will be a continuing series.
As for the DVD, for an
AD Vision DVD it's filled with a lot of trailers, screen shots
from the OAV and it's better than the bare bones DVD's that you
get from them from time to time.
Otherwise, I recommend
checking out Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (or the original BGC series)
unless what I mentioned above is your criteria to buying anime,
then you may want to purchase this DVD. If you are not or
against what I mentioned above, stay clear away from this DVD.
