Almost like an anime, Hana is a person who works at Andrews department store and somehow makes others lives (including the animals) seem just fine and dandy.

[TBS Synopsis]: Looking for a job, Hana gets work at the Andrews Department Store, but her boss hates her and gives her impossible work to do. Her bubbly nature and creativity soon bring success to every job she is assigned though, and the president even wonders if her mysterious charm can rally the company and pull them out of their financial difficulties. But the President and Ryou, his straight-laced son, have different ideas about running the company. Perhaps if she finds true love for Ryou, she can soften his hard heart. Anything seems possible with Hana's never-ending optimism, which is the basis for this heart-warming and humorous story of the power of positivity!

I really underestimated this drama. I never expected this drama to hook me in and make me want to watch this drama from beginning to end. Inamori Izumi has the ability to make me smile each time I see her on screen and this drama capitulates her bubbly personality. Yonekura Ryoko plays the beautiful friend who secretly loves the corporate president and is shown by Hana that she shouldn't give up. This is one of those happy dramas that you want to watch and enjoy and not take so seriously. It is more or less a bubbly, innocent albeit naive woman who manages to get things done for a struggling department store to the shock of the employees and the corporate management. If you want to laugh and smile and in need of a break from serious or dark dramas, I highly recommend checking out "Pretty Girls". It's that kind of drama to put a smile on your face.
