JAPANESE DRAMA DATABASE: 9.11

[Source: Daily Yomiuri, September 1, 2004, Wm. Penn, Televiews]: In the years since 2001, relatively little has been broadcast about the Japanese victims of 9/11. Now, on the third anniversary of that horrendous day, the Fuji TV network will tell one woman's story in this simply titled drama, 9.11 (Sept. 11, 9-10:54 p.m.), based on the diaries of Harumi Sugiyama, who lost her husband Yoichi, a Fuji Bank employee, that day. The talented Emi Wakui stars as Harumi. Goro Inagaki plays her husband.
