Nurse no Oshigoto Series (Nurse's Job)

This is a show about a single woman working and living in Tokyo as a nurse, with a comedy touch. Izumi (Mizuki) is a nurse with no big dreams. After the Nurses College Graduation Ceremony, Izumi collapses at a drinking party and is rushed to the hospital where she will be working at.  Not a good start. As she learns her job, she makes many mistakes and this becomes normal.

To make things worse, while working at night, she calls her boyfriend Mikami (Moroboshi) but fails to respond to a patient's nurse call. This doesn't please Izumi's senior nurse Ozaki (Matsushita) at all. Ozaki tells her , "Why don't you just quit already, because sooner or later you will end up killing someone." This is a major shock to Izumi.........Will Izumi become a good nurse?

[FUJI TV Synopsis for Part 4]: After her much awaited honeymoon, Izumi Asakura and husband, Kentaro Takasugi return home. Its been 7 years since Izumi started nursing, so she feels like she's a veteran. Unfortunately for her though, there is a new nurse on the block, and she's really good at what she does!! At work, Izumi keeps on screwing up, even in front of the new nurse. She even has the new girl teaching her things along the way! The youngest head nurse at the hospital, Shoko Ozawa, goes into a meeting with the other head nurses, but isn't welcomed by them. And at the nurse station, the senior nurse, Saiko Oshima doesn't seem to be at home either.

REVIEWS:

It's a funny series but the storyline is average.  One of the things about "Nurse no Oshigoto" is you hate it or you love it.  We have gotten many letters on this drama from people from both sides but more people who say they loved it.  So, it's pretty hard to rate.  I have my personal feelings and it's a funny drama that I probably don't give much credit to but for those who have watched it completely, comments are is that this drama is pretty good.-KNDY

The fact that this series continues and has a movie shows how powerful this humorous drama is. It's a lighthearted and very funny comedy drama that is enjoyable to watch. - Jacque
