MOKUYOU NO KAIDAN (Ghost stories on Thursday) SERIES

This is like a Tales of the Crypt or X-Files like drama. Which starred the popular young actors/actresses during the 1990's. This was a long running show, so it may be a bit difficult to list each one:

October 1995: Johnny's Jr. Kids and young actresses take on an evil zombie teacher. Also, featuring the lady traveler.

November 1995: The Kaidan kids discover a haunted bathroom and the dead girl's handwriting keeps appearing in the bathroom. Inagaki Goro with his dead wife and a bird. The lady traveler is back.

August 1996: One of the Kaidan members are posessed and a story about UFO sightings.

Kinki Kids member, Domoto Kohichi and Nakayama Hideyuki team up to take on a cyborg.

DURATION: October 17 through December 1996

* Shin Mokuyou no Kaidan Finale: Time Keepers

Possibly the final episode of the "Shin Mokuyou no Kaidan" series. Starring Takizawa Hideaki, Nakayama Emiri and Azuma Mikihasa.

DURATION: January 9, 1997 through March 1997

* Mokuyou no Kaidan `97

This series features the girls: Hirosue Ryoko, Suzuki Ran Ran, Tomosaka Rie and more.

DURATION: May 2, 1997 through July 1997

REVIEW: 

I recommend this drama series to young adults, teens and children.  It's basically stories that deal with weird things but it stars popular young adult and child stars of today.  In the beginning, it was scary but after 1995 the show concentrated on very young children and the storyline was going from Cyborgs to Time travelling cops.  All in all it's fun to watch but I wished it stayed in the scarier side. It's not a ratings buster but it is fun to watch.  No rating on this one since there are too many shows.
