[Daily Yomiuri Synopsis, September 29, 2003, Wm. Penn]: When it comes to hair, Naoto Takenaka trumps all the competition. He will boast a mustache, beard and toupee for his role in Lion Sensei, which begins Monday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. on NTV--and his hair is a very important part of the plotline, too. He is a classical literature teacher with 22 years experience who cannot bear to tell anyone the proud mane he displays is really a wig. When the reality of his predicament starts to really stress him out, his head gets unbearably itchy. Okay. This series should at least get a prize for originality.
