KOI NO BAKANSU (LOVE VACANCE / In Love and Loving It)

A middle-aged bachelor whose tendency to fall in love with the women around him results in extremely delicate situations. [Episode 1 synopsis] This is a funny love story between a normal OL (Suzuki) and a slovenly dressed 40 year old salaryman (Akashiya). One evening at a bar, Akashiya meets a woman there and they both go to a love hotel.

There, they talk about various things and as a result, their lives begin to change. The woman is Akira (Suzuki) who works in the same company as Akashiya and Akira starts thinking about getting married and stuff and it seems that Akashiya doesn't want to get married. Looks hilarious. Premiere: This complicated romantic comedy revolves around a rumored wedding engagement between Kankuro and Akira. It is complete with inevitable situations as well as compromising and embarassing predicaments. It's a program you won't want to miss.

[KIKU TV Synopsis]: Work, romance, and life take on a strange twist when a chance meeting at a bar between company salaryman Mayuzumi Kankuro (portrayed by comedian Akashiya Sanma) and his managing director's secretary (Suzuki Anju) leads to an engagement rumor. Soon fellow employees and family members are drawn into the mess. Kankuro's career with the company could be affected as things become complicated and misunderstandings occur in every step he makes in this romantic comedy, and things only get worse with his inability to set the rumor straight.

It started out as very interesting and somehow I slowly lost interest as the drama progressed.  I recommend people to know Japanese to watch this because you can get confused by the many dialogue and the many people on this drama.
