KIMI TO DEATTE KARA (Since I met you)

Sachiko (Tsuruta) works at a coffee shop part time and has dreams of entering art school. Every morning, Togawa (Motoki) visits the shop to have his morning coffee. Sachiko likes Togawa from afar. Togawa works for Madison Affairs and is considered an elite business man. He is very cold and stern. He asks Sachiko out on a date. That nite, Sachiko is out waiting for Togawa to arrive.

Togawa, realizing that he was responsible for causing Sachiko's father's company to go bankrupt, bades his time with his ex girlfriend (Suzuki) in a hotel room. He leaves about 2 hours later and meets up with Sachiko. He gets out of the taxi and sees Sachiko across the street. Sachiko, so happy to see Togawa rushes across the street not knowing that a RAV is coming. Togawa pushes Sachiko out of harm's way and is turn runned over. Togawa manages to stay alive but is mentally crippled.  He has no memory and is in bad physical shape. Sachiko, overcome with guilt tries to nurse Togawa back to health. .................

Seiji was deeply immersed in his rigid life as a success-driven businessman working for a major trading company when he ran into a 22-year-old art school student. Little did he realize that the love of this women, whom he asked out on a fluke, would teach him so much about life. Graphically illustrated in this drama is a moving romance that provides an insight into the profound effects true love can have on a person's life.

REVIEWS:

This was a drama I actually enjoyed.  At times it can be very screwed up with how Sachiko is treated but there is a lot of things that happen in the thirteen episodes to keep you watching.
