KEKKON SHIYOUYO (Let’s get married)

Keitaro (Eguchi) is the president of his own interior planning company. He is raising his six year old son Ren by himself.  His wife left 3 years earlier to pursue her dream of becoming a jewelry designer in Canada. Miwa (Ishida) plays a door to door sales woman who can't sell any of her products. Keitaro receives an ultimatum from his wife's lawyer saying that if he isn't married within two months, he has to give Ren to her.

So he turns in an ad to a marriage arrangement company and its published in a magazine. Miwa happens to be the best selling sales person in her office (actually she bought over 10,000 dollars worth of products with her own money) and now she is cash strapped. She sees Keitaro's ad and sees him. They hastily get married using each other for their own reasons; Keitaro (gets to keep Ren) and Miwa (gets money to pay off herself ). This is a great comedy.

[TBS Synopsis]: A young woman trapped in a company, which relentlessly drives its employees, meets up with a divorced man who has custody of his son. Despite the collapse of the bubble economy, which has seemingly robbed them of hopes and dreams, they decide to get married and tackle the uncertain future step by step. This is a lighthearted drama of a couple's quest to find their own way through the ups and downs of married life.

My interpretation of this drama was that it was so-so. I didn't think Ishida and Eguchi had great chemistery but many other people enjoyed this drama.  I don't want to knock this drama because I didn't watch it throughout the end, so no rating will be given on this drama until someone who watched it completely will give their recommendation.
