KEIZOKU (Unsolved Cases)

A drama about a police officer/detective/profiler after some murderer....who maybe someone close to them...hmmm...Another "Profiler" type drama. Btw, if Keizoku series #1 shocked you, fortunately the special answers certain things.

[TBS Synopsis]: Graduating at the top of her class, elite detective candidate Jun Shibata is transferred to the section that handles cases deemed "unsolvable" by the department. Her partner, though a well-respected and experienced detective, has grown complacent after unsuccesfully pursuing these cases that many consider an exercise in futility. With her upper class breeding, her colleagues don't expect much from her either, but she suprises them all with her motivation and astounding powers of deduction. Well-constructed mysteries and colorful characters abound in this stylish and edgy police drama.

REVIEWS:

A weird drama but near the end it kept my attention.  The final scene is a blow to the drama.  Something that shouldn't happen to the antagonist.... what a tragic ending.  It won best drama of this season. NOTE: After just watching the drama special, then again, scratch what I said about the drama series. For those who watched the drama series, you think you get one messed up ending with a certain person getting killed but the drama special takes place after the series. I guess for those who were upset with watching the drama series will never know what happens to our talented police officers.
