Kanojotachi no Jidai

[From Neko]: It is about ordinary Japanese people's life. Nothing special happens, but that does not mean it's boring. On the other hand, their situations are so real that we felt like living in this drama and felt familiar with the characters who were not very brilliant, as if they were our own friends. Fukami, a 26 year-old girl, has a uneventful life, working as a telephone operator. She finds her work tedious and wanted something more important to her not just romance, when she meets two girls of the same age, Chizu and Tsugiko. They have something in common though their situations are different and become closer and closer... These days young girls have many lifestyle choices, not only marriage. We think we have to achieve something big and it becomes some kind of pressure. When we can't do that we likely to think we are worthless....and forget that living now itself is very meaningful, important thing. Not only young girls' situations, but those of people of various generation are described well. Fukami's brother-in-Law, his boss, and Fukami's sister...everyone has his or her own problems and sometimes conflicts with each other. Though this drama shows us many problems, it still has some heartwarming scenes...especially Fukami, Chizu, and Tsugiko's conversation is interesting. Each has different character but has great chemistry with each other. The vivid way of their chatting...it reminds us of how we chat with our closest friends!
