[FUJI TV Synopsis]: In the show "The Announcer," which stars Miki Mizuno as a first year announcer, she and Rie Tomosaka, another first year announcer, soon find out that they were both raised on very different sides of the tracks. This show which begins airing in January, follows Makoto Ootsuki (22), played by Miki Mizuno, a first year announcer at a television station in Tokyo. Born in Iseshima, Mie Prefecture, Makoto goes through some very trying times as she tries to adjust to the Tokyo lifestyle after being chose from a few thousand candidates to become an announcer.
