Heisei Meoto Jawan ~dokechi no hanamichi~ (A reference to a kind of rice bowl/Getting By)

A story about a father (Higashiyama) who runs a rice/tea shop who tends to gamble a lot while his wife (Asano) raises their five children.   A romantic comedy.

[NTV Synopsis]: A debt-burdened noodle shop owner and his fanatically resourceful wife have almost no money for their five kids, but with lots of laughter and quick thinking somehow manage to get by.
