Fuzoroi no Ringo Tachi (Odd apples) SERIES [Synopsis
for Fuzoroi Ringo Tachi IV): This a sequel to a drama that started some
15 years ago. It features Tokio's Nagase Tomoya and Housho Mai this
time... But the cast still has the original members... As far as the
first episode goes, Nagase came out of his inaka place to Tokyo, his
luggage gets lost, he gets mad at Nakai Kiichi, and his friends are
trying to help him out. At the same time, Nagase runs into some sort
of deal (some sort of Yakuza maybe), they pay him to keep quiet about
it, and the next day, Housho Mai is following him around. I don't know
what the hell is going on. Basically this girl is a politician's daughter
who wants to find out whether her father is a bad politician and does
bad things or not. She somehow found out that Nagase has seen what happened
that day (in the first ep, Nagase witnessed i think a bribe or something
like that and was threatened and given some money) and she wanted to
find out the truth from him. I'm not sure if this is a drama where you have to know the previous series to understand but I found it a little boring. But I'm not going to give it a rating because I haven't seen the previous series.-KNDY Copyright © 1993-2003
