The purpose of this homepage is to help Japanese drama viewers in their search, trade or rental of a Japanese dorama. Due to the large amount of Japanese doramas released in Japan each year, we are limiting our dorama pages to only "trendy doramas" excluding NHK doramas and doramas that last for more than 20 episodes. The doramas range from 1986 through present time. Unfortunately, due to the amount of doramas released each year, only those that are worthy to list on this page will be listed. This dorama page is from information of Japanese dorama fans all around the world. This page would not exist without the help of the many Japanese dorama fans out there.

DRAMA RATINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

The drama ratings and recommendations are from Dennis A. Amith (KNDY) and other members of the Asunaro Association. They may differ from your opinion and if you do want your opinion added to any section of our dorama sections, we will add your opinion to the page (cool huh?). We would be very happy for any help to this page. We recommend all drama fans to chime in on their feelings and opinions of the following dramas on the database. Again, this page is for the dorama fans and it's all about helping people. So, any help is needed.

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE DORAMA'S?:

Japanese doramas can be accessed via Japanese Video Rental Store (check out the GenerAsian Life Classifieds under Entertainment for information), International channel or satellite, VCD, DVD, videos or LD's, have a friend to copy it for you and last, there are various drama trading clubs and if needed, bit torrent sites with fansubs. Also, we highly recommend getting the latest information on dramas through the J-ENT or Dorama Mailing Lists (Click on the left links for more information). Also, if you are looking for more information on the actors that you seen on a drama, you can check out the J!-ENT CELEBRITY LINK BASE which is tied in with the Bonsai Search.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR INFORMATION TO US:

E-mail us at: and let us know what dorama you are talking about if you are going to send a review or opinion. If you want a dorama added on the page, we need a synopsis, who the actors are, your recommendation and a rating (out of 5 stars). Throughout the years we have received information from newspaper sources relating to drama and I ask if you can add the publication name and date of publication to credit the writer and their publication.
