Days

DAYS (Mondays at 9 p.m. on the Fuji network) takes a look at the lives of six 20-year-olds struggling to maintain their dreams in a society that has already classified and ranked them. TOKIO band member, Tomoya Nagase, stars in this one, and it is a role that he has played equally well before in the dramas Hakusen Nagashi and Fuzoroi no Ringo-tachi IV. Again, he is the alienated but sincere, inherently honest young man trying to overcome a background that has given him few advantages beyond his own inner strength. This drama also takes a few swipes at baby boomers quick to criticize their offspring such as the scene where Nagase stops to help a mugging victim, a drunk in his 40s who quickly accuses Nagase of the crime and the police believe the drunk rather than the very sober 20-year-old.

REVIEWS:

"Days" is a drama that young people about to turn 20 can relate to very well. It deals with the good things and the bad things that can occur. It also deals with various relationships and dealing with adults.  It also has a little comedy in it so it's actually a drama everyone can enjoy. [By Shuji]
