Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call) Based on the popular Takashi Miike horror film, "Chakushin Ari" is about young people who receive cell phone messages from themselves in the future. They soon learn that these missed calls are omens of their impending deaths. Yumi cannot avoid getting one of these messages. She and Yamashita whose sister was one of the first to fall prey to the deadly dialer, race against the clock to solve the mystery before Yumi becomes the latest victim. Like "Ring", the film gets a dorama treatment but where the films can go for the scare factor, stretching a film out to nearly a dozen episodes may not give the film justice. STARRING:
