Atarashii Kaze (New Wind)

[Excerpt Daily Yomiuri 2/28/04, Wm. Penn]: The familiar old-timers are OK, but what we need is a fresh breeze, so TBS will give us a drama called Atarashii Kaze (New Wind) in mid-April. It just may be one of the season's more promising offerings. Eisaku Yoshida plays a journalist and divorced dad who meets Rie Tomosaka at a shop where he is buying a book for his daughter. A year later they marry, but it is not parenting problems they face but political hurdles. When he announces he is going to run for political office, Rie will suddenly have to learn some of the intricacies of the mysterious world of politics. This one sounds like it could be instructive.
