ANO HI NI KAERITAI (A RETURN TO YESTERDAY) I watched/recorded this series back when it was on in early '93 I believe. Still haven't found time to watch it yet. ^^; Anyways, from what I recall it's the story of two sisters who had to grow up without their father. Kikuchi Momoko plays the older, more responsible sister while Kudo Shizuka plays the younger, more outgoing one. First eps. starts off with Shizuka supposedly off in America to study, with elder sis worrying about her. Obviously the series can't take place in two parts of the world so you can guess what happens. What else...uh, the closing song is "Doukoku" by Kudo Shizuka. It is about 2 sisters, Momoko is very kind and Shizuka is very free spirited. Shizuka leaves for the US and asks her boyfriend to keep an eye on her sister, he is a boxer. Eventually he and Momoko fall in love and then the rivalry starts when Shizuka returns.The 2 sisters get together to try to complete their dead fathers last film. It really is a good show, so I think you will enjoy it. Starring: KUDO
